The weather at South Wales 2000 was calm and still and the targets were flying on rails, making for a good days skeet shooting. The highest score of the day came from Dave Cooper posting a 97, winning "A" class and the pot. Second in "A" class Mark Davies with 96.

Gareth Irvin won "AA" class with 86. "B" class shooters Dai Francis and Bryan Wells, both on 95 went head to head in the only shoot off of the day. Sudden death pairs on stations 3, 4 and 5. Dai Francis won the shoot off to take 1st place. Bryan Wells 2nd and Lloyd Morris 3rd with 92

Ken Jones shot a good 94 to take first place in "C" class, followed by Gareth Williams with 89 to take second place
